Teacher of History
The Peterborough School is seeking to appoint an ambitious, well-qualified and inspirational individual to join our team from September 2024.
The successful candidate will join a dynamic Humanities faculty who are all passionate about their subject. Our high-quality teaching achieves excellent results and motivates our students to take part with enthusiasm. History is a popular subject taught at A-Level within the Senior School and the successful candidate will be expected to teach to this level.
The post would be suitable for a recently qualified teacher. The ability to teach other humanities would be an advantage.

Nursery
Childcare Practitioner

We are seeking to appoint a qualified and inspirational Childcare Practitioner to join our “Outstanding” Nursery. The appointed person will have the ability to work alongside an excellent team of dedicated staff to provide high quality care and a stimulating educational environment for children under 5 years of age. The Nursery, which stands in a beautiful setting within the School site, has been rated as Outstanding in every area for the last 10 years. We have an excellent reputation and we continue to go from strength to strength.

The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage, have a childcare qualification up to Level 3 or above and relevant experience within an Early Years setting. Many of our staff have been trained to degree level whilst in our employment and additional training is offered in First Aid and Safeguarding.

Nursery Room Leader

As the Room Leader, you will provide professional leadership and guidance to your team, coordinate all aspects of your designated room, ensure that sessions run smoothly, and that the children are receiving the best possible care, within a safe and stimulating environment.
You will create a nurturing, engaging and safe environment, develop and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum, and build and maintain relationships with children, parents and colleagues. You will provide the highest level of care, ensuring the individual needs and safety of the children are identified and met, whilst maintaining an enjoyable atmosphere.
You will have proven experience of working within an early years setting, strong leadership skills and a passion for providing excellent childcare.
