Following the government’s announcement this week, you will be aware that schools in England are to shut from the end of the school day on Friday 20 March until further notice.  You will also have noted that schools should aim to remain open only for certain groups of pupils, which we hope to have greater clarity on soon.

We are working hard to ensure we continue to offer the same level of education while children are at home for the foreseeable future, and all teachers and pupils have been checking that they have access to relevant IT facilities to support this.

We understand that this may be unsettling for pupils and parents, and we are doing everything in our power to ensure we can support you through this – even if this isn’t face to face. If you have any questions regarding the school closure, please contact your child's form tutor in the first instance.
