Every week, a team of enthusiastic Young Investigators from Years 5,6 and 7 meets in the Science Department to take part in a range of exciting activities and investigations. These have included studying fingerprints, making new paper from old, and investigating which shape of raft will hold the most weight.
Twelve pupils are on target to receive the prestigious Young Investigators Bronze Award from the British Association by the end of the Summer Term. Success will lead to Silver and Gold Awards next year. From September, a First Investigators scheme will be available to pupils in Years 3 and 4. |
