We teach Science in a practical, investigative way. This approrach is designed to develop pupils' scientific knowledge by nurturing their skills of analysis and enquiry.
The Exploring Science Scheme is used as the basis for study in Years 7, 8 and 9 with some additional enrichment material. Most pupils follow a Double Award Science Course at GCSE, while the most able opt for the Triple Award Scheme.
Sciences are amongst the most popular subjects at AS and A2 with pupils often opting for careers in scientific research and medicine.
