Our current Young Enterprise company, Anagenesis, had an extremely successful day at the Milton Keynes Trade Fair on 20th February. 

Over 60 schools from all across the Sough East region competed but Anagenesis' main product, the headphone de-tangler, which they created from their own unique design and having negotiated its manufacture with a recyled plastics factory in Grantham, was pronounced the Best Product.

In addition, the team came runner up in the Best Overall Company category and won third prize for Best Trade Stand.

Anagenesis was the only team from the Peterborough area to compete, although all schools were invited.  They found themselves up against schools from as far afield as London, Buckinghamshire and Northampton.

Given the success of their product, the girls are now looking to protect their intellectual property by registering the design, before taking it to the High Street.  They also now go on to compete in the Peterborough Area final at the end of March.
