Students and staff at The Peterborough School are today celebrating attaining a 100% pass rate for the third year in succession. The best ever results on record included an excellent A*-B percentage which was up this year to 63%. ¹

Deputy Head Girl, Nainika Menon, will be celebrating gaining her place at Nottingham to read Medicine with flying colours with her two A*s in maths and biology and two As in chemistry and physics.

Outstanding success has gone to Japanese student, Moe Suzuki, who supplemented her four A Levels (A* in Japanese, As in history, biology and RE) with a Distinction in her AQA Baccalaureate ², thanks to also gaining an A* in the Extended Project Qualification element of this new award. All this was achieved while she has worked in English as a second language. Moe will now go on to read Politics and Development Studies at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) at the University of London.

As well as these two top performers there are many more very happy girls who are delighted with their results, including Philippa Chester with A grades in her three subjects, and others right across the board whose achievements have contributed to the number of top end grades, a third of which were at A* or A.

Headmaster, Adrian Meadows, is naturally extremely pleased with the results and in particular the consistency of the high standards: “We are again seeing the girls’ hard work and the exemplary teaching rewarded with exceptional results and I am delighted that we are able to celebrate a perfect overall pass rate for the third year in a row; we really cannot do better than that”.
