The following is a School Kenning based on the poetry of Sandy Brownjohn. A kenning is a way of combining two words to describe something, instead of using the name of the thing itself. The Vikings used them a great deal for naming their most fearsome warriors. Year 6 have based theirs on school and the teachers - slightly less fearsome!
