Ruth and Georgia's Magic

Ruth and Georgia were getting out their bikes, so that they could go and pick some apples. They put on their helmets and they cycled off to the orchard.

“They must be ripe by now because we can’t have unripe apples,” said Georgia.

“Because we want to make some apple pie,” said Ruth.

The orchard was fun to run around, and they climbed the trees.

Then they picked the apples and then they went back, but Ruth and Georgia dropped the apples and they turned into oranges.

“Oh, that’s funny. We can’t have orange pie. They must turn back,” said Ruth and Georgia. But they didn’t turn back.

Then they went back to their class and read their book. They were reading about magic fruit!

The Treasure Hunt

When Tim was drawing, he found a piece of paper with a treasure map on it. He was excited and he showed it to Mum.

“We will follow the treasure map,” he said whilst jumping up and down.

They got out their bikes and put on their cycling helmets.

Tim and Mummy followed the twisty road up the bumpy mountain to try and find the treasure. They used the map to find the jewellery. The jewellery was pretty and shiny, and they put it in the basket. Then they found a special candle. When they lit it at home, all the lights went out and the candle lit up the house.

Hats

The hats were designed and then built by members of the Reception class.

The Three Little Pigs

Their mum said to the Little Pigs to build a house.  So the Little Pigs set off. The one Little Pig said “I want to make a house with straw,” he did. The other Little Pig said, “I want to make a house of wood,” so he did. The other Little Pig said to the man to build a house of bricks.

The wolf came to the house of straw, he blowed the house down.He went to the second Little Pigs house, “Hello, can I come in?”

“Not by the hair of my chinny, chin, chin.  I won’t, I won’t let you in.

The wolf came to the third Little Pig’s house.  He knocked on the door, “Hello, can I come in?”

“No you can’t come in.”

He huffed and he puffed and he blew the house down.
