Duke of Edinburgh Award

The majority of girls in Year 10 elect to undertake the Bronze Award. The expedition is a highlight but participants also pursue a variety of sports, skills and undertake a service to the community. Silver level is also offered. Members of Year 12 are enthusiastic to take up the prestigious Gold Award and we have a 100% successful completion rate at this demanding level.

Last year, Years 12 and 13 tackled the arduous hikes in the Dark Peak and Brecon Beacons or the Peak District. Pupils have enjoyed their award ceremonies at the Palace. Victoria is pictured proudly holding her Gold Certificate.
